The Power of Gratitude
Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 01:32PM Gratitude. ... "the state of being grateful; thankfulness."
Recently I have been reading articles on "gratitude" and how it affects our daily lives and our health.
I have always been a person that has taken great pride in keeping in touch with my family and friends any way that I can. Through cards, e-mails, letters and a phone call. Many times my friends are taken back by my continuous contact. But, if I didn't I would lose them and would not have them know how much they mean to me in my life.
What are some of the reasons that you don't stay in touch with a loved one?
- You have to go to the store?
- Cards have become to expensive?
- Cards are not what you were looking for?
- Forgot an address?
- The cards is not personal enough?
- It is time consuming to write?
- You Forgot and now it is to late?
- Don't have stamp?
- There are to many people on your list to contact?
- It will just go into the garbage anyway?
If you would just take the time each and every day, to contact someone you know, imagine how you could change their lives.
"Who can you encourage today? Who can you build up? How can you improve someone elses life? Who can you just stop by and say hello" You will become the "echo" in people's lives.
"Whatever you send out always comes back to you."
Through cards you can start giving something that no one else can give. A PART OF YOU!!!
Cards are the least intrusive and one of the most pleasant ways to communicate with another person and you too can do that very simply, right now. Take a test drive and see how it feels.
Also, I would like to share with you a powerful video. I hope that you too will begin to keep in touch with your family, friends, and new friends.
And give of Yourself.
